Vata Dosha:
Hair are thin dry , prone to fizziness. When vata DOSHA is prominent. Any Imbalance In Vata Dosha will lead to excessive dry, splits and breakage. The management of such hair would be by protecting the moisture and elasticity of hair.

Pitta Dosha:
It has properties like heat and intensity. When Pitta Dosha is dominant, fine hair and premature greying are more likely. Kapha Dosha:
A person with kapha dominant will have thick oily shining hair . Any Imbalance in kapha will cause excessive oiliness leading to dandruff and greasy scalp.

For enhancing hair shine and quality, soak mature green leaves of Arjuna in water for 2-3 hours, then macerate them to create a mucilaginous mixture. Apply this mixture to the scalp, leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing.
  • Take 1 part of yastimadhu , 1 part of Amalaki and 4 parts of sesame oil heat on low flame , when bubbles appear .keep it aside and let it cool.Then apply on scalp after hair wash for 15 minutes and wash hair . Repeat this procedure for 2 times a week for 8 weeks.
  • Mix 25 grams of bhringaraja paste with 100 ml of sesame or coconut oil. Add either 400 ml of bhringaraja decoction or 200 ml of fresh juice to the mixture and heat it gently. Applying this blend can help reduce hair fall, treat dandruff, and prevent premature greying of hair.
  • Mix equal quantities of gokshura and sesame flowers into a paste using honey. Apply this paste to bald areas to promote hair regrowth and nourish the scalp.
  • Cooking coconut oil with a coarse powder of gunja seeds and bhringaraja, and applying it externally on the scalp, is beneficial for hair growth.
  • Regular coconut oil massage improves hair growth.
  • Boil hibiscus petal juice in coconut oil until the water evaporates. Applying this oil to the scalp can cool the entire body and serve as an effective treatment for hair loss.
  • Mix aloe vera and lemon juice, apply the mixture to your hair, and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing with water. This treatment aids in reducing hair fall and enhancing shine.

Ayurvedic Remedies for Dandruff

  • Combine 50 grams of Methi (Fenugreek) seeds with 150 milliliters of coconut oil or til oil. Place it in sunlight for six days. Afterwards, filter and store the mixture in a glass container. Regular application serves as an effective hair tonic.
  • Combine 20 twigs of Kaddi leaf paste with 100 ml of coconut oil and cook until the moisture evaporates. Regularly applying this oil promotes hair growth and is beneficial for dandruff treatment.
  • Regular massage with sesame oil increases hair growth, prevents dandruff and splitting of hair.
  • Hair Conditioner: Soak two teaspoons of methi seeds in water overnight. The next day, grind them into a paste and apply to the scalp as a hair mask for 30-40 minutes, then rinse off with water. This serves as a natural conditioner.
  • The leaves of Japa/Hibiscus are crushed and extract the mucilaginous content. Apply on scalp for 2 hours before hair wash. It relieves dandruff and promotes hair growth .

  • Application of Madayanti /Heena leaves oil and seeds too helps in hair fall and dandruff.
  • Combine 25 grams of Durva grass paste with 100ml of sesame oil, cook until the moisture evaporates, then filter and store. Apply the mixture to the scalp to treat dandruff, itching, and eczema.

Ayurvedic Remedy for Premature greying of hair

  • Prepare a paste from 25 grams of Indravaruni (Tumbi) seeds and cook it in 400 ml of sesame oil until the moisture evaporates. Regularly applying this oil can help prevent premature greying of hair.

Thus, along with these tips, you also need to take leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, and dairy products. Proper hydration should be maintained. The role of certain minerals, iron, copper, biotin, Omega-3 fatty acids, etc., and a nutrient-rich balanced diet play an important part.

Avoid excessive spicy, oily, and processed food. Go to bed at around 10 pm for good sleep. Regular meditation, yoga, and gentle exercise play an important role in reducing stress.

Consider incorporating Ashwagandha and Shatavari for addressing hormonal imbalances and promoting hair health, and include Turmeric and Triphala for regular detoxification and balancing of doshas.
